Old Love

Always had a thing for old things. I cannot afford antiques (the pricey ones i.e.). So when you get an old object-of-desire for free, you thank your stars and count your blessings and accept it gracefully (well, greedily).
This wooden chest has to be 100 years old if not more. Belonged to my grandfather or could be even his father's (hmmm, I actually need to confirm that) and my uncle gave it to me some 16 years ago. It remains a favorite piece in my house, despite the wear and tear and all the "battle" scars.

And Lunch is Served!

My attempts at eating healthy. Rainbow pasta with bell pepper (red, green and yellow), cucmber, carrots, cherry tomatoes, roasted cashews, balsamic vinaigrette, feta cheese,olive oil, salt and pepper. Delicious!
